the good cause's we support

Last year, 2018, we raised upwards of 5000€ and made contributions to various charities and individual good causes, therefore spreading the good name and reputation of Rangers.
One of the causes we support is the Children ́s Sensory Learning Unit in Arrecife Hospital.

2018 HOSPITAL VISIT

On 20th December representatives of the Club and staff from Bluebells Bar, Puerto Del Carmen made the annual visit to surprise the children having to spend Christmas in the General Hospital Jose Molina Orosa in Arrecife. The Club raised and allocated 1000€, as it does every year.

As well as individually-tailored Christmas presents for each young person, club this year provided funds for a revolutionary new learning resource aimed at young people – the interactive PLEO-rb, a robotic dinosaur which helps to enhance the innate curiosity of the children through fun, dynamic and very creative activities. These types of resources are being pioneered in Madrid and elsewhere, and the staff at the local hospital here in Lanzarote selected this as a gift on this occasion.

Everyone was delighted to take part in a wonderful session of therapeutic and uplifting music and song which put a huge smile of the faces of the kids, parents, staff and visitors.

HAPPY FACES!
